What we do

  • VisionWe feel that we are making a positive improvement in people’s lives by improving their homes. We are told over-and-over that our customers love their new spaces and find it hard to remember functioning before the remodeling project.
  • Types of Projects We Do.
Additions Room Remodels Custom Carpentry
Basements Decks Door/Window Replacements
Kitchens Roofs Painting
Bathrooms Siding Cabinetry
Sunrooms Flooring
  • MethodologyDuring our initial meeting with the customer, we listen to their needs to determine the best approach necessary to meet their needs while respecting budget and timeline. Some examples include:

    Adding space

Addition – Supply the additional space with a goal of creating a seamless transition between the addition and the existing home. We don’t want the addition to appear as an ‘afterthought’. Basement – Create an extension of existing home. Opening the bottom of the stairs is one way to help create an inviting environment. Deck – Add outdoor living space.

    Repairs

Roof replacements Door/Window replacements Water damage

    Changing existing spaces

More Storage – Creatively design a new layout effectively using the existing space. Updated look – Design geared towards customers’ desired style. Work flow – Design so that workflow is more conducive to the customers’ style (example – cooking style, home office, etc).

    Changing Functionality

Sunroom – Changing porches into three or four season rooms. Removing walls – open rooms to give a more inviting feel (example – open kitchen into dining room/family room for customers’ who like to entertain while cooking). Floor layout change – Combining rooms, changing rooms’ complete functionality (example – dinette becomes powder room, hallway becomes mudroom, etc – really any room can become another type of room).

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a network of expert residential building professionals partnering to assist homeowners in creating more comfortable, safe, durable and energy efficient homes. Homeowners that choose to have an evaluation will have an independent consultant provide an objective third-party diagnosis in a written report of recommended solutions. After the remodeling work has been completed, the same consultant will perform a post-performance evaluation to verify that the home is operating safely and that any of the recommended improvements that were implemented are complete and effective. This vital step is provided at no additional cost. Another benefit beyond monetary energy savings – homeowners who purchase electricity or natural gas from specific utilities may be eligible to participate in the Homeowners Rewards program and earn cash back!
